I came up with the name Fast Acting Records in 2004 to use on self released CDs. Until 2007, it was only a name without a formal business model of any kind. In 2007, the first official Fast Acting Records release was Gravity Raincoat's "Space Thumb" EP although I had used the name on El Kabong's Pleasure Craft CD and it was to be used again on the unreleased 2nd El Kabong CD.

"Space Thumb" was released on CD and digitally distributed on iTunes making it also Fast Acting Records first iTunes release.

I continue to use the name as a very small business and the site as an archive of the music I have worked on and been a part of my whole life.

My newest recordings should be out in May 2010.
