Description: A hard rock edge mixed with alternative rock, alt country and southern rock sensibilities probably best describes Grady Truchelut's Subliminal Moonshine. This release is a mixture of driving, hook laden rock and psychedelia with alt country and southern rock sensibilities thrown in for good measure. With this release, Grady will realize his first completely “solo” collection of recordings. In this sense, Subliminal Moonshine is truly a solo album with Grady self producing and performing, almost exclusively, all of the instruments and vocals himself.

Here in my archives, I have run across the master tapes of the only mixes ever made for the "lost tracks" Gravity Raincoat recorded with Jay Anderson and Scott Munden on vocals.

These were made after Psyche, shortly before the band split and once again were recorded in the "jam shack" which was really a rehearsal space for my Dad's band, Biff Bobney and the Biffettes.

The song, "Wasted Chance" featuring Scott Munden on vocals, was recorded after "I Love You to Death" and both Jay and Thai Nguyen were absent for this session. We thought of it as a sort of side project and we really enjoyed working with Scott even though it was the only song we ever worked with him on.

I'm including it in the Gravity Raincoat "lost tracks" as it was still the original core three piece Gravity Raincoat performing all the parts except vocals and the music was written by Tom and I while Scott wrote the lyrics.

So now the real NEWS:

These "lost tracks" are streaming right now on the site!
